Dr. Nishtha is presently serving as an assistant professor in the department of 1Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Dr. K. N. Modi Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Modi Nagar, Ghaziabad, U.P.-201204, India. She is guiding M. Pharm. Scholars as well as working on the development of new tyrosine kinase inhibitor compounds. Dr. Nishtha has recently earned her Ph.D. degree from the prestigious School of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi. Nishtha has already presented a part of her research work during the Cell symposia “TCGA Legacy: Multi-Omic studies in cancer”, held at Washington DC, USA during 27-29 September 2018. The travel was funded by SERB-Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. She had qualified CSIR-SRF and secured 2nd Best Poster Award for her group’s research work on thiazole-5-carboxylate derivatives as selective MAGL inhibitors at ITS, Ghaziabad (India). She has emerged as an effective presenter during various conferences. Dr. Nishtha has attained hands on specific skills in the field of Green Chemistry, Scale up techniques and Bulk drugs during her Post Graduation & has achieved impressive hold on medicinal, pharmaceutical & analytical laboratory techniques and synthesizing enzyme inhibitors during her doctoral research.
