Lauren is a first-year master's student in the Animal Biotechnology and Biomedical Sciences program at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Originally from East Greenwich, Rhode Island, she earned her B.S. in Animal Sciences from the University of Rhode Island in 2024. As a teaching assistant, she supports courses such as One Health, Animal Anatomy and Physiology Lab, Biotechnology Lab, and Introduction to Animal Management. Her research focuses on measuring telomere length in human milk samples to explore how factors like BRCA mutations influence telomere length.
