Biography

Professor Guy Storme, MD, PhD, is a renowned oncologist and Professor Emeritus at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. He served as Head of Radiation Oncology and led the Laboratory of Experimental Oncology at UZ Brussel. Former President of the Belgian Society for Radiation Oncology (1994–1995) and the Organization of European Cancer Institutes (1999–2000), he played a pivotal role in advancing collaborative cancer care across Europe. With over 419 publications and an h-index of 54, his research has had a lasting impact on radiotherapy and cancer treatment. Professor Storme remains an influential member of multiple scientific organizations, shaping the future of oncology.
