Biography

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Cancer Biology at the Cleveland Clinic. I did my PhD in South Korea at one of the country’s top universities, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago. My research focuses on the role of the tumor microenvironment (TME) in brain tumors, particularly glioblastoma and breast cancer brain metastases. I investigate how tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) promote tumor progression and immune evasion. With over a decade of experience in tumor biology and Immunology, I use in vivo models and molecular techniques to develop macrophage-targeted therapeutic strategies.
