Radiomics and Imaging Biomarkers

Radiomics offers data-characterization algorithms to extract a wide range of data from medical images. This session’s main topic is how imaging biomarkers can enhance prediction, treatment planning, and cancer diagnosis. Despite its potential, there are still issues to be fixed, such as standardising imaging techniques and verifying radio mic fingerprints in clinical settings. This issue can be resolved, and the use of radionics in cancer care may undergo enhancement through interdisciplinary research and alliances between radiologists and oncologists.
